Course Outline

This one-year L2 course provides learners with the practical and theoretical skills needed to succeed in the games design, esports or media production industries. It allows learners to upskill and choose one of the above pathways to progress onto L3. Learners will also develop knowledge of the industry and the opportunities available.

Entry Requirements

GCSE's at grade D-G or Level 1 IT. Applicants are required to have basic skills in Literacy and Numeracy. Learners should also have an interest in either games design, esports or media production

What will I learn?

You will learn theoretical, practical and transferable skills within three assignments that will cover a range of topics within games design, esports and media production. These assignments will prepare you to produce a final project in either subject allowing progression onto Level 3

Course Assessment

3 assignment projects and a final major project.

Career Progression

Learners who achieve a merit grade or above are able to progress onto the L3 UAL Games Design, Esports or Media production courses
