Course Outline
The level 2 in IT provides learners an opportunity to upskill in readiness for Level 3, it provides a broad range of skill building in technology systems, programming, web, graphics, multimedia and animation.
Entry Requirements
GCSE's at grade D-G or Level 1 IT. Applicants are required to have basic skills in Literacy and Numeracy
What will I learn?
While studying BTEC Level 2 IT, you will develop an interactive website on a chosen topic, a digital graphical logo and promotional material using industry software, a digital interactive portfolio to showcase your work, a 2D digital animation, along with researching the online world, the internet of things, IT hardware and software and connected networks.

Coursework and online assessment required
Career Progression
Learners who achieve a merit grade or above are able to progress onto the BTEC L3 or UAL Creative Computing and Games Design.
