Working in partnership with Merthyr Tydfil Aspire Shared Apprenticeship scheme
The ASPIRE Shared Apprenticeship Programme is a partnership project, as part of which, apprentices
are employed by Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council, trained by The College Merthyr Tydfil and placed
with a host firm for the duration of the two to three-year apprenticeship programme.
“The project aims to enhance skills development within the manufacturing and engineering
companies to help support and develop business growth whilst at the same time helping to tackle unemployment and provide aspirational opportunities for young people across the county borough.
