The course is designed for students who wish gain knowledge of the public services, with a view to potential employment. It provides the skills and knowledge relevant to roles in the police, fire, prison and armed services. The course provides a balance of practical and theory-based lessons to prepare you to work in the public services. Good links to the relevant services ensures that learners get to experience some aspects of the work conducted by our public servants. Links with universities provide an insight to what courses are available, whilst using their facilities to conduct assessment work.
