Why choose to study Engineering with us? Fantastic facilities. Excellent partnerships and apprenticeship opportunities with local organisations e.g. General Dynamics. Excellent partnership with the University of South Wales Opportunities to engage in European work experience placements.
5 GCSEs grade A* - C to include Mathematics, English and successful interview demonstrating motivation and commitment to the programme
The qualification includes a combination of units that aim to develop understanding and application of engineering principles and techniques. Workshop based units are taught alongside academic units to provide students with a broad knowledge and understanding of engineering. This quaification has been designed to be more acedemic than the other level 3 engineering courses and is designed for those students primarily wishing to advance to a 3 year university degree course or seeking an apprentiship.
