Students recognised for going above and beyond in their studies at College Award Ceremony
The College Merthyr Tydfil was incredibly proud to have recently held its biggest event since 2019 with an impressive College Award Ceremony.
It was an evening to celebrate the achievements of students from the previous academic year 2021-2022 and to recognise the people who have all played an important part in the learner’s success, including parents, carers, and family.
Over 90 learners from different departments were nominated by college staff for going above and beyond what was expected.
Lisa M Thomas, College Principal said: “Occasions like this provide an opportunity to pause and reflect- and it is with tremendous pride that I look back on the last academic year- a year in which the college has continued to flourish and froe its reputation as a provider of excellent teaching and learning and high academic achievement, despite the challenges presented by the post-Covid environment.”
