As a college we want to support you to achieve the very best you can and want to wish you the very best of luck for your forthcoming exams. That’s why we are hosting a Pob Lwc Day on Monday 9th May to celebrate all of your hard work over the last two years and wish you all the very best of luck! 

As part of our celebrations, we will be:

  • Launching our programme of free breakfasts for all learners sitting an exam over the next few weeks. These will be available on each day you are sitting an exam. Vouchers can be collected from the first floor landing or will be handed out by your vocational course tutor.
  • Offering a Valleys Steps Mindfulness and Wellbeing session at 11am on Monday 9th To book on to this sessions, please click on the link here:
  • Running drop-in sessions throughout the day and that week on:
    • Coping with exam stress
    • Exam etiquette
    • Revision strategies and developing revision schedules/timetables
    • Exam revision sessions in library
  • Giving away key stationary to support learners – index cards, highlighters, post-it notes etc. These will all be available to collect on the first floor landing.
  • Running yoga, stretch and UV sport sessions throughout the day for learners to join
  • Launching ‘Getting to know the exams team and wellbeing team’ sessions across the day – to help you familiarise yourselves with the staff that will be supporting you during your exam period.
  • Launching dedicated areas in college Learning Zone to promote resources available to support revision and exam preparation/techniques
  • We will also have an ice cream van parked outside the college all day for learners to go and have a free ice-cream or ice-lolly treat!
