The course is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in the uniformed services. It provides the skills and underpinning knowledge relevant to employment in the police, fire, prison and armed services. The course offers a good balance of practical and theory-based lessons to prepare you to work within the uniformed services. Learners will experience outdoor adventurous activities, aimed to develop communication, leadership and teamwork. Excellent links provide a good variety of activities and experiences provided by the Police, Army, Navy, RAF, Fire Service and Youth Service. These courses will provide learners with knowledge and understanding of the work undertaken within the uniformed protective services. The Welsh Language is important to working within the Public Services in Wales, and those wishing to pursue a career within the uniformed protective services will be expected to meet and greet people bilingually.
