The AgilePM Practitioner certification is for those who have passed the Foundation exam, its objective is to transition learners from understanding the framework to applying it effectively. It is designed for professionals in project focused environments who want to be agile.
All learners will need to have passed their Agile Project Management (AgilePM) Foundation or hold a DSMD Atern Foundation Certificate or DSDM Advanced Practitioner Certificate
AgilePM Framework, Understand the roles, and responsibilities within AgilePM, including how it aligns with DSDM (Dynamic Systems Development Method).
Agile Principles & Philosophy Learn the eight principles that underpin AgilePM and how they guide decision-making and project delivery.
Project Lifecycle & Products Explore the Agile project lifecycle, including phases like Feasibility, Foundations, Exploration, and Deployment, and the key products (documents/artifacts) produced in each. Learn how to plan, estimate, and control Agile projects using techniques like timeboxing, MoSCoW prioritization, and iterative development
Tailoring AgilePM Understand how to adapt AgilePM to suit different project contexts, including scaling for larger teams or integrating with traditional governance. Risk Management & Quality Assurance Learn how AgilePM addresses risk and ensures quality through continuous feedback, testing, and stakeholder engagement.
The AgilePM® Practitioner Exam is a paper of 2.5 hours duration. There are 4 Objective Test style questions to be answered in the 2.5 hours and the candidate may use an annotated manual. Each question is worth 20 marks and the candidate must score 40/80 to be successful. Results for this exam will be received within 7 – 10 working days.
