Course Outline

This qualification is designed for individuals already qualified in site/building project management to gain a qualification in the project coordination and risk management of domestic retrofit projects, as well as providing a route for those already working in a retrofit capacity but lacking specific qualifications. The qualification will equip learners with the specific knowledge and skills to deliver domestic retrofit projects to the standards detailed in PAS2035. the Retrofit Coordinator role is mandatory for all retrofit projects undertaken in conjunction with PAS 2035 which is fully backed by the government and Trustmark

Entry Requirements

A Level 3 qualification in a built environment subject This must include at least 12 credits. Examples of relevant qualifications include A-levels, NVQs, or technical certificates in construction, architecture, surveying, or engineering. Professional experience A minimum of two years' experience working in retrofit, energy efficiency, or a related field is often required. Roles might include project managers, surveyors, architects, engineers, or housing professionals.

Lodging measures to Trustmark and ensuring compliance with government-backed scheme

Retrofit Coordinator Responsibilities Overseeing procurement, specification, and delivery of retrofit measures. Protecting homeowner interests from survey to handover. Using retrofit software tools and managing documentation
