Retrofit Roles Retrofit Assessor Retrofit Coordinator Retrofit Designer These roles are aligned with PAS2035 & PAS2038 standards and are essential for projects involving traditional or protected buildings (e.g. listed buildings, conservation areas)1. Energy Assessment Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) Green Deal Advisor (GDA) On-Construction Energy Assessor These professionals produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and advise on energy-saving measures1. Heritage and Conservation Work with organisations like Cadw, Historic England, or local authorities to ensure energy efficiency upgrades respect the character and significance of older buildings2. Sustainable Construction Roles in project management, site coordination, or building surveying with a focus on sustainable retrofitting and low-carbon building practices.
