Core Domestic Natural Gas Safety (CCN1) certificate Core Domestic LPG Gas Safety (CCLP1) certificate An aligned QCF or S/NVQ certificate in gas or plumbing Group Competency Certificate (for certain routes) Additionally: You must be registered with the Gas Safe Register for at least 6 months before adding appliances to your registration. If you’re a new entrant with no prior experience, you should contact the training provider to discuss tailored option
Gas Safety Legislation & Standards Understand UK regulations, including the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations. Combustion & Ventilation Principles Learn how gas burns, what makes it safe, and how to ensure proper ventilation.
Flueing & Chimney Systems Assess and install flue systems to safely remove combustion gases. Gas Appliance Installation & Commissioning Safely install and test domestic appliances like boilers, cookers, and fires.
Servicing & Maintenance Diagnose faults, carry out routine servicing, and ensure appliances operate efficiently. Emergency Procedures & Unsafe Situations Identify and respond to gas leaks, carbon monoxide risks, and other hazards.
Pipework & Tightness Testing Learn how to install, test, and purge gas pipework systems.
Must complete a Managed Learning Programme (MLP)
