Course Outline
From Level 1 through to Level 3, our hairdressing and beauty courses provide you with the opportunity to further develop your skills and enhance you career and employment prospects in the hair and beauty industry. All of our courses equip learners for the world of work by providing the opportunity for them to work within a realistic working environment whereby they are required to develop key employability skills.
Entry Requirements
Applicants are selected on interview. Progression between levels is not automatic
What will I learn?
The VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Women’s Hairdressing is an intermediate vocational qualification that focuses on the development of a broad range of hairdressing skills, supported by relevant underpinning theoretical knowledge. The purpose of this qualification is to develop a high level of occupational ability and provide a sound platform from which to progress to a Level 3 NVQ or Diploma.
Course Assessment
Observation of practical assessment, written assignments, case studies, end of unit tests
Career Progression
Learners who successfully complete this qualification will have the opportunity to progress to Level 3 vocational qualifications in Hairdressing and Barbering. This qualification may also lead directly into supervised employment
