Course Outline

This qualification allows learners to develop the knowledge and skills required for employment and/or career progression in childcare or health settings. It combines both practice units that are assessed within the workplace with additional theoretical knowledge. Learners are required to complete a minimum of 750 hours of work placement to achieve this qualification and a will need to have a satisfactory clearance with the disclosure and barring service before attending the required work placement setting.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSE's at grade A* - C including English and Mathematics

What will I learn?

Course Assessment

It is assessed through a combination of external written assessments, externally set and marked written examinations and internally assessed tasks.
