Course Outline
The Level 1 Vocational Studies course is an ideal stepping stone to develop your skills to progress onto one of our subject specific level 2 programmes at college. Do you what to progress into a career in Beauty, Health and Social Care, Childcare, Business, Tourism, Sports or Public Services? If so, this course allows you to complete units in these subject areas, alongside developing your study skills and progression path.
Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications are required, however applicants should have basic literacy and numeracy skills.
What will I learn?
A number of core units including organisational skills, research skills, working with others and progression planning. Alongside these, you will also complete units in your chosen pathway subjects and literacy and numeracy.

Successful completion of the Level 1 Vocational Studies course will enable you to progress onto a Level 2 programme at the college.
