Our Level 1 Courses are the perfect starting point for anyone looking to explore the basics of a number of various subjects which we deliver at Level 2. Whether you aim to pursue further studies or start your career, our programs provide the essential knowledge and skills to set you on the path to success and get used to studying again. We currently offer the following pathways: Business, Tourism, Sports and Public Services Health and Social Care, Childcare and Beauty
Entry Requirements
There are no formal qualifications required, however applicants should have basic literacy and numeracy skills.
What will I learn?
A number of core units including organisational skills, research skills, working with others and progression planning. Alongside these, you will also complete units in your chosen pathway subjects and literacy and numeracy
Course Assessment
Career Progression
Successful completion of the Level 1 Vocational Studies course will enable you to progress onto some Level 2 programmes at the college including business, IT, Travel and Tourism, Sports, Public Services, Beauty and Art. Some industries require an additional year of study at the college, including Health and Social Care and Childcare
