Course Outline

A Level Photography will introduce you to a variety of experiences, exploring a range of photographic media, techniques and processes. Researching the work of other photographers and artists is an integral part of the investigating and making process. You will produce a sketchbook / workbook / journal, documenting your research and recording the development of your own work. This qualification will encourage you to develop specialist photography skills in a creative and innovative setting.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs grades A-C, including English Language. You will be asked to bring examples of your photographic work to your interview.

What will I learn?

On this course you will you will produce a sketchbook / workbook / journal, documenting your research and recording the development of your own work. This qualification will encourage you to develop specialist photography skills in a creative and innovative setting.

Course Assessment

Practical Exam.

Career Progression

Successful completion of the course will enable you to progress on to the photography foundation degree at the college, a photography related degree at another university, or directly into employment
