The City & Guilds 6219-07 Multi-Skills Level 1 Construction Diploma is a one-year programme for learners who wish to enter the construction industry.

There are no formal entry requirements. You will be required to complete an interview with one of our construction trade tutors. During the interview, you will need to demonstrate an interest in learning more about construction with a view to progressing to training or work in the industry.
Beth fydda i'n dysgu?
You will gain experience of the different skills in a variety of construction pathways including bricklaying, carpentry & joinery, painting & decorating and plastering. On successful completion of the programme, you will have the opportunity to progress to a Level 2 qualification, apprenticeship or further training in your chosen construction trade.

Practical workshop assessments and portfolio of evidence

You could progress on to study the City & Guilds L2 Foundation Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment. Alternatively, you could progress into apprenticeship training or employment in the construction industry.
