We are a 21st Century library that aspires to be more than just a store house for resources.

We have much more to offer, including user education sessions, MACs, Laptops, free Wifi, a quiet study area and a multimedia room with interactive facilities. We can offer a high level of personal service with friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you maximise your potential.

All learners have full access to The University of South Wales resources and can have items transferred to the Merthyr Campus within 48 hours!

We have an extensive range of e-resources to benefit every type of learner.

We have a range of resources ranging from books, eBooks, DVDs, journals & magazines, and a variety of E-resources!

Your Student ID is your library card – you will not be able to borrow/renew items in the library without it.

How many items can I borrow? – 10 items from Merthyr and 5 from the University of South Wales

How long can items be borrowed for? – All our books have different coloured labels to let you know how long you can borrow them for.
