Entry Level: 1, 2 & 3

Duration: Full Time 1 years – 16 hours per week

Entry Requirements: No formal qualifications are needed, although entry will be decided when the student attends for an interview.

Course Description:
This course is designed for adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Students will be able to develop basic skills in numeracy, literacy, communication and IT. The course provides students with the opportunity to gain experience and
confidence over a range of vocational areas. Students are taught in small groups with additional support according to their needs. The programme allows students to gain a range of qualifications.

What you will Study:
• Develop basic skills of numeracy, literacy and communication
• Gain nationally recognised qualifications
• Sample a range of vocational areas in workshop settings
• Gain an understanding of health and safety in relation to vocational areas
• Develop skills of independence and self-advocacy

Students are taught in small groups and will receive extra support and guidance to help achieve.

On Completion/ Career Paths:
This course leads to recognised qulaifications namely OCN and ASDAN awards.
