BTEC Vocational Qualification at Level 3, A Level at grade A – C. Mature applicants msut possess relevant experience. All applicants will undergo a formal interview and take part in workshop session prior to selection.
About the Course
The course of study will allow the individual to research, study and practice around themes and issues based within the drama and music sector.
Studying practitioners and implementing their theories into practical theatre/music productions will be at the core of the course of study.
Students can specialise in performance, devising or directing, whilst acquiring good theatre practice. An important element of the second year of study will be a placement with a partner organisation. Modules or areas of study (including options and practical/theoretical content,project, working in community etc.)

Year 1: Introduction to Drama: Texts and Contexts
Theatre Practice 1; Devising – Directing – Performing, Study Skills, Creative Industries Practical Project.
Year 2: Theatre Practice 2, Contexts, Histories, Practices, Creative Industries work-placement.
On Completion/Career Paths
Students can progress onto Degrees and into the field of Performing Arts.
