Duration:1 -2 Years Pull Time

Entry Requirements:
Students aged 16 + with no GCSEs or for mature students wanting to re-enter education or advance current skills.

Course Description:
The six-unit BTEC National Awards offers a specialist qualification that focuses on particular aspects of employment within the sector. As such the BTEC First Certificate offers a qualification that can extend the study and provide vocational emphasis for learners. This route is designed for those learners wishing to develop backstage and technical skills.

What you will Study:
Choice of: Acting – Performance, Rehearsal, Musical Theatre, Film & TV, Acting.
Dance – Rehearsing, Performing, Dance, Movement, Choreography, Jazz Dance.
Music – Signing, Live Performance Techniques.

On Completion/ Career Paths:
Students who successfully complete the National Awards course can progress in Performing Arts or you may use the skills gained to access other courses.
