Sixth Annual Kier Hardie Lecture

Merthyr Tydfil College/University of Glamorgan hosted the sixth annual Keir Hardie lecture. The keynote speaker was the Rt. Hon Peter Hain MP who chose social justice as his topic.

The audience including Merthyrs Assembly Member Huw Lewis, warmly applauded the Secretary of State for Wales and Northern Ireland as he linked his themes to the memory of the former Merthyr MP who was Labours first elected parliamentary representative.
