Academy Status by Sports Leaders UK.
Archaeological Discovery of 1870s ‘Ynysfach Ironworks’ at Merthyr Tydfil College
Public Open Day, took place Saturday 22nd October 2011, 10.00am – 2.00pm In preparation for the MLQ construction work to commence, advance works to prepare the ground and create a retaining wall have been ongoing to the south and west elevations of the Merthyr Tydfil College site since August 2011. These works have uncovered the remains of elements of the Ynsyfach Iron Works, that date back to the 1870’s.Students American Adventure
The exhibition will be open to the public between the 15-6-11 and 05-09-11 from 10am to 4pm on the 2nd floor.

Motor Vehicle Italian Super Car Trip
Merthyr Tydfil College’s Motor Vehicle sections annual tour of car manufacturer’s this year took place in Italy.
HUNDREDS of theatre-goers will hear the words “feed me, Seymour” this week, as students at Merthyr Tydfil College perform their version of Little Shop of Horrors.
The College recently held the local colleges Construction Skills (Cskills) Regional Heat .
