Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLD)

The College has several learning Coaches experienced in working with Learners who have Dyslexia and other specific Learning Difficulties, such as Dyspraxia, ADHD and Aspergers Syndrome.

We have worked in partnership with the British Dyslexia Association to deliver Project Success to learners between the ages of 13 & 19 years who have a Specific Learning Difficulty.

Learners have the opportunity to work individually or within a group setting to access specialist software designed with their educational needs in mind.

Confidence & self esteem raising is an important part of the Project and can lead to additional qualifications via the Open College Network.
