What Can I do if I am not happy with the level of support I receive?

We hope to quickly sort out any issue in an informal way. This is best done through Linda Birch Learning Support Co ordinator or Judith Mulry, Equality Manager. If you have a grievance against the college then there is a procedure that is available to all students.

The Grievance Procedure is published in the Students Charter, the Student Diary the Intranet and is also available from the Library or Student Services who will explain the procedure to you.

Support is available to assist you to register your complaint. If you would like to raise any issue relating to disability access or you would like to make a suggestion to improve our support to students with a disability you can speak to Judith Mulry in Room 5 or come along to our next Disability Equality Duty (DED) Forum or 3As students meeting. The dates of the meetings are advertised on the 3As notice board just outside the entrance to the Library.

Photo 1 Your comments will then be discussed at the next meeting of the 3As staff group which will be attended by a student representative. You will be contacted after the meeting and any decisions made will be discussed with you.

The College has an active Student Union supported by the University of Glamorgan. The team will be able to support you and offer advice on a range of issues. The student Union team can be contacted via the Students Union building, to the rear of Student Services on the ground floor.

Message from Chris Davies:
“Just a quick note to let you all know I have been elected onto the Student Union as Non Sabbatical Officer to support Students with Disabilities. Should you need advice or guidance please do not hesitate to contact me via email or via my mobile number 07855 332992. I’d welcome the opportunity to support you in any way I can.”
