Information for Users with Disability and Dyslexia

The Learning Zone aims to provide the widest possible access to learning and teaching resources and to remove any barriers resulting from disability, illness or other specific need.

The Learning Zone offers computers equipped with speech and magnification software and page scanners that can read books.
There are also special programmes designed to aid students with dyslexia that will check spelling, grammar and word usage while offering audible advice to the user.

Students with a visual impairment can access online databases and Internet based services using either screen magnification or a speech system for the blind.
