Course Description:
This course is intended to meet the ongoing developmental needs of practitioners working with vulnerable adults in health and social care/public services. It aims to enable students to develop knowledge, expertise and skills to enhance their contribution in the workplace. It will enable students to explore best practice, self reflect and examine efficiency and effectiveness in working with vulnerable adults.

• Content and Recognition of Abuse
• Policies and Practice when working with vulnerable adults
• Employment module. Enables the student to demonstrate competence within the workplace and to link theory to practice
On Completion/ Career Paths:
Students may progress into Higher Education.
