Health & Safety

Merthyr Tydfil College is responsible for ensuring that the health, safety and welfare of students, staff and visitors. The College achieves this by the active management of health and safety risks.

The College provides an environment which is stimulating and safe to work in, promotes the highest health and safety standards for students and staff and encourages a positive attitude towards improving the health and safety culture.

Students have health and safety responsibilities too, both to themselves and others who may be affected by their actions. Students are required to comply with College health and safety procedures. These outline what is to be done to safeguard the health and safety of all those affected by the College’s activities.
