Health & Wellbeing

The college works in partnership with Cwm Taff NHS Trust and runs a weekly, informal and completely confidential drop-in session for students.

The nursing staff are available to discuss general health concerns including sexual health advice, education & treatment sessions; emergency contraception, condoms and screening for STIs.

The nursing staff are also available to attend and run on-course tutorial sessions relating to students’ general health concerns.

The college is also working in partnership with the local Health Promotion Practitioner to offer an innovatory C-Card Scheme where trained students are able to dispense condoms to other students in a confidential setting. This service is run in conjunction with the nursing staff.

Both services are run through our Health Centre based near the Learning Zone.

Nursing staff are available every Wednesday between
10.00am & 1.00pm

C-Card Scheme is available within the College as well.
