Course Description:
The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Barbering is an advanced vocational qualification that focuses on the development of advanced barbering techniques, the cutting of facial hair and health and safety. The certificate will develop the advanced skills and theoretical knowledge required for barbering and the cutting of facial hair. The purpose of this specialist qualification is to develop a high level of occupational ability for those in education or industry.

What you will Study:
The Level 3 Certificate in Barbering is made up of 3 mandatory units, totalling 13 credits.

1. Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon.
2. Cut facial hair to create a variety of looks.
3. Cut men’s hair to create a variety of looks.

On Completion/ Career Paths:
This qualification may lead directly into employment in the barbering industry as a senior barber, salon manger or to work as an independent barber.
