Entry Requirements: A Foundation Certificate in Engineering, GNVQ Intermediate, First Award in Egineering, 4 GCSE’s at leve A* – C. Mature students through interview.

Course Description:
The certificate is vocationally related qualification (VRQ) which has been developed to meet the demand from industry and ensures that the candidate has the practical as well as theoretical knowledge of engineering. This qualification can be further developed to qualify as a Technical Certificate, used in the modern apprenticeship framework.

What you will Study:
To achieve the certificate in Engineering and Technology the candidate is required to complete two common mandatory pathway unit and the required number of optional units from their chosen pathway.

Maintenance
Mechanical
A Multi-Skill Engineering pathway is also available.
