Duration: 1 Year Part Time

Entry Requirements: A Foundation Certificate in Engineering, GNVQ Intermediate, First Award in Engineering, 4 GCSEs at A* – C. Mature applicants through interview.

Course Description:
This diploma is vocationally related qualification (VRQ) which has beeen developed to meet the demand from industry and ensures that the candidate has the practical as well as the theoretical knowledge of engineering.

This qualification can be further developed to qualify as a Technical Certificate, used in the modern apprenticeship framework.

What you will Study:
To achieve the Diploma in Engineering and Technology the candidate is required to complete two common mandatory units, in the required number of optional units from their chosen pathway.

Pathways include: Electrical/Electronic, Fabrication and Welding, Maintenance and Mechanical. A Multi-Skill Engineering pathway is also available.

Progression within the engineering area.
