Can the training be delivered at my workplace?
We pride ourselves in offering completely flexible training solutions geared to meet your business needs. We offer training at the college, your workplace, or other suitable venues.

How much will the training cost?
The cost will depend on the type and duration of training required. Our specialist staff will always aim to provide the most cost effective solutions to meet the needs of your business, and will advise you of any available funding.

Can I get any funding to cover the costs of training?
It depends. Our specialist staff will be able to advise you of current funding opportunities, and will either advise you of your eligibility, or will work with you to identify any appropriate support agencies that can help.

Do you offer any discounts for training groups of employees?
We do for some of our courses, dependant upon the group size. Please contact our team of specialist advisors on 01685 726125 to discuss your specific needs.

Are your courses flexible to accommodate the work-life balance of my employees?
We will always endeavour to offer the highest degree of flexibility to meet your needs and those of your employees. Many of our training courses and programmes can be delivered either ‘on-site’ or ‘off-site’, and can be tailored to meet the needs of groups or individuals. We also offer a wide range of distance, and blended learning (a blend of distance, often computer-based’, and tutor/trainer-led delivery) to ensure we meet the needs of both your business and the needs of your employees.

Can you help me to decide which course is right for my employees?
Yes. Our Employer Services team is available Monday to Thursdays, 08:45 am – 4:45 pm, and 08:45 am to 4:00 pm on Fridays. Messages can be left on our messaging system outside these hours, and a team member will get back to you the next working day. In all cases, a dedicated member of the team will be pleased to discuss your requirements and answer your questions and, if appropriate, to arrange an appointment to come out and visit you.

Do the courses only run during the college term-times?
No. Merthyr Tydfil College offers many of its courses all year round. Please contact our team of specialist advisors on 01685 726125 to discuss your specific needs.

How long will it take to organise the training?
Booking onto one of our open courses can usually be sorted out that same day, often over the telephone.

Bespoke training usually takes at least a few days to organise, since we will want to meet with you to identify the best training solutions for your business and your employees.
