Foundation Degree students Lucy Sullivan, Cameran Trowbridge and Owen Powell have also successfully gained placements for this coming summer. Lucy commented “I’m so happy to have gained this placement. I’m looking forward to traveling to a new place and seeing how their coaching techniques differ from ours. I’m also looking forward to working with the young children to help develop their sporting ability.” Cameran added I’m excited about the prospect of being able to coach groups of younger children and developing their skills.”

All students had to undergo a rigorous selection process to gain their place on the programme. This included a coaching assessment and informal interview.
