Christopher, who previously studied at Cyfarthfa High School, started on our level 1 Traineeship programme in July 2015. He combined his study at the college with working and completed his qualification in Tyre Fitting Operations in September 2016.
Christopher was then offered a Foundation Apprenticeship (level 2 diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance & repair Competence) which he completed in July 2017.
Christopher has just commenced working towards his level 3 apprenticeship at John Lewis Motors, Pant Industrial Estate, Merthyr.
Dafydd Thomas, who previously studied at Aberdare Community School, enrolled on our level 2 Motor Vehicle course in September 2016. As part of his course, he was fortunate to spend two weeks European work experience with Opel in Schleswig. Opel were so impressed with Dafydd that they offered him a full time position. Dafydd commented “I really enjoyed my work placement and was so happy to be offered a full time position. I am loving every minute of my time in Germany.”
