EE has been named the Apprenticeship Awards Cymru Macro Employer of the Year 2015. The award, which was presented at a glittering ceremony held at the Celtic Manor Resort on 29th October, seeks to celebrate the outstanding achievements of those who have exceeded expectations, shown a dynamic approach to training and demonstrated initiative, enterprise, innovation and creativity.
The award was presented to EE for the achievements and successes it has gained through its apprenticeship programme with the college, which involves the provision of over 15 apprenticeship schemes each year.
Operations manager Claire Litten-Price said: “It’s an absolutely amazing award and well deserved for all the hard work the company and the college has done with apprentices in Merthyr Tydfil. The apprenticeship programme helps to ensure our workforce has the practical skills as well as the qualifications to meet the needs of our growing business.”
