College Merthyr Tydfil students commended for their production of RSPCA Animal Welfare Film

A group of College Merthyr Tydfil students have been highly commended for their production of a recent RSPCA film. The Foundation Degree Film and Video students worked under the guidance of staff members Richard Davies and Nicola Ebdon, to produce a special RSPCA Film on Wild Animal Welfare.

The film was broadcast at RSPCA Cymru's Gala Dinner on November at the Pierhead Building in Cardiff Bay. The event was hosted by the Minister for Welfare, Rebecca Evans AM, and attended by more than 20 Assembly Members, as well as many key stakeholders and operational partners.

The film was very well-received and highlighted clearly to decision-makers and others in attendance the importance of Wild Animal Welfare across Wales.

The Minister and senior RSPCA officers were most complimentary about the quality of the finished film and the professional standards of the students who produced it. Well done all!
