Two College Merthyr Tydfil students had the opportunity to attend The Big Ideas Wales Bootcamp which took place on 30th January 2015. A2 Science, Computing and Humanities students, Giorgio Baglioni and Jordan Coates were two of only 25 people from the whole of Wales chosen to attend the camp for budding entrepreneurs. Giorgio and Jordan got through with their innovative idea of a Social Enterprise designed to take the stress out of exam time for students. They joined the other 25 successful 16 – 24 year old entrepreneurs in an intensive three day residential business Bootcamp where they were inspired by world-class entrepreneurs, given access to business support, networked with likeminded young entrepreneurs and were coached and challenged on their business idea.
