Students will need to have completed the BTEC L3 90 Credit National Diploma in IT/WBQ Advanced successfully with an MP grade and met course conditions.
BTEC L3 Course:
This course is designed to provide the learner with the knowledge, understanding and the skills needed to prepare them for employment within the IT sector. This will enable them to seek employment as computer programmers, web developers or database administrators.
The WBQ Advanced (WBQ) is integrated into the BTEC L3 Extended Diploma and consists of Personal and Social Education; Wales, Europe and the World, research skills; Work Experience and Community Participation and essential skills.
The qualification enables learners to generate UCAS points for university entry or to seek employment with an equivalent of 1.5 A Levels
