BA (Hons) Business Management

Good business skills are essential for employment in all sectors, and this course is designed to give your career prospects that extra boost. If you’ve already studied a HND or Foundation Degree in Business, this course allows you to top-up your qualification to a full degree in one year. You can also tailor your studies to meet your career goals by completing a research project and choosing from a selection of optional modules to suit your interests and aspirations.

What you will study

You will look at core aspects of business through modules in business strategy, research and  global business. You’ll conduct a real investigation into a business problem that allows you to apply your business acumen to a real life scenario. You will also study optional modules that allow you to focus and specialise in areas that reflect your interests and support your career ambitions.

How you will study

There are some traditional lectures, but the majority of your learning will rely on interactive seminars, supported by online study materials. You will use the latest real-life data and case studies to help you learn, making your studies as relevant as possible to what you will experience in the workplace. You will have to complete coursework as you progress and normally sit exams at the end of the year.

HND Business Studies with merit profile or Foundation Degree Business Studies.
